As these five women discover there's more to one another than meets the eye, they form a unique bond that will for ever change their lives and the lives of many others. Isabel, a determined journalist with a secret that might keep her from the biggest story of her life.

Pretty much everyone agreed that this was an easy read, which transported its readers to another world. Candace was married to an ambassador, whom she left for an Afghan and has now followed him back to his country. It's about a band of dogs getting their revenge on humans, so it sounds like I'm in for a wild ride 😂 Have you read any books from the Paperbacks From Hell series? Publication information is for the USA, and (unless stated otherwise) represents the first print edition. Deborah Rodriguez did nothing less than take a paintbrush, and give the gloomy, flat picture I had in my head several lashings of fresh colour and dimension. As these five women discover there’s more to one another than meets the eye, they form a unique bond that will for ever change their lives and the lives of many others.

One criticism made of the book was how many characters there are –perhaps too many – with members of our group feeling there were male characters in the background who added very little to the story and there was a sense of loss in some of the characters not being more developed throughout the book.As this group of men and women discover that there’s more to one another than meets the eye, they’ll form an unlikely friendship that will change not only their own lives but the lives of an entire country. I've read a couple of books from the Paperbacks From Hell series by Valancourt Books (I also highly recommend the Grady Hendrix book of the same name that preceded the series), so when I saw The Pack sitting on a shelf in the horror section, I decided I'd give it a go. It’s a reminder of the horrors that many have to face in different countries and how important family and friends are and how far you would go for the ones you love.
