Description

Though a small number of songs could slip through the cracks the majority of the album consists of songs that should feature permanently in your playlists. Opening track ‘Down the Road’ is energetic and distinctive, immediately highlighting Webster’s ability to craft tracks that feel simultaneously classic and modern.

It has similar origins to Diamonds in the Mud by Gerry Cinnamon but without the specifics towards the certain place. The next song and a personal favourite of mine is Living for Yesterday which is already one of Webster’s singles. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. But listeners will struggle to find a more heartfelt tribute to a home than This Place, the reassuring feel everyone gets whenever a front door is opened set to words, little parochialisms and love wrapped into infectious togetherness, optimism and hope. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).Though Liverpool seems to be very aware of the 24-year-olds talent, this album is set to capture the rest of the nation soon enough. Due to inventory and accounting purposes, we do not exchange items received for different items than originally purchased. Webster originally grew in renown for providing new soundtracks to Liverpool Football Club’s rising fortunes, playing to 60,000 fans attending the 2019 Champions League Final in Madrid and performing around the world, as far afield as Australia and Dubai. As he sees it though, the means to combat all of this are rooted in community, in throwing away the meaningless and cutting spite and division out of lives (advice given on the street corner yell of Change) before rescuing those who’ve slipped between the cracks and lifting them up (Out On The Street, its scouse-psych overtones handed down through generations of the city’s best like an heirloom). Webster describes the city as his heart and it reminds the listener of the impact your home town can have on a person.

The first song on the album is Down The Road, it gives you a clear impression of the style of music that Webster is going to grace the listener with through this album. Better still to square the Liverpudlian and former electrician in the folk tradition, but only because he chooses the least complicated ways to connect with people; a strummed guitar, some welcoming chords and a proudly accented voice, basic tools made good by joy and artistry. Two years later we made the move to our present address, 35 The Headrow, where we have remained ever since. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. Read more about the condition New: An item that is still in its original shrink wrap from the manufacturer and the original manufacturer’s seal (if applicable) has not been removed. The messages of his songs are raw and vital, as each track clearly has a purpose and there are no filler moments. Stop Living Blind’ and ‘Somethings Gotta Give’ offer a more mellow and laid back side to Webster, illustrating the range of the project.
